It can be used in a lot of different combinations. One of them is "Golden Milk" which is very relaxing. Drink it before going to sleep or whenever you want to calm down.
You can also use it in yoghurt, or just add some in your humus or any kind of dinner.
What you need is:
1/2 cup of water
1/4 cup of turmeric (gurkemeje in Danish, no need for google translate here)
Put the water in a small pot and heat it up, medium heat, while stirring the turmeric that you put in.
Cook it for 7-9 minutes and put in some more water if it gets too thick.
You will then have a paste that can last for about 2-3 weeks. Let it cool down and put it in glass containers. Plastic containers can be used as well. Just make sure that the paste is really cold before putting it in it so that you won't have any chemistry going in to your paste from the plastic container.

Golden Milk
1 teaspoon of the turmeric paste (take less if you are sensitive to strong tastes)the amount of milk you want to drink (whatever kind of milk you like)
put it in a pot and stir it while heating it up
If you want it sweet, you can add some sirup, honey (don't use any sugar, it's not good for you)
And in the end you can also add some oil. Preferable Udo's Oil, but you can also use other kinds of oil like almond oil. Just make sure it's a healthy oil with a taste that suites milk.
At last you could add some cinnamom - it has a wonderful taste and will help the drink to get even more relaxing.
